Round two of tubes went quite well. Â Miller read a little of Carl Goes to the Park and removed her allergy alert ankle bands while waiting for the anesthesiologist to come (she doesn’t like being defined by labels). Â She took her goofy juice like a good girl and quickly became the fun little party girl we all love. Â The nurses came to get me when it was over with and said she had yet to shed one tear- she just woke up and picked her arms up for someone to come hold her! Â She has done great all afternoon, too. Â She had one little throw up spell on the way home, but as soon as we got here I couldn’t stop her from running around and chattering about everything. Â She then took a three hour nap this afternoon and went to hang out at Pat Pat’s for dinner while I went to Bible Study (and obviously enjoyed her daddy’s dessert as is evident by the picture). Â This is a far cry from how she was doing post op last time and hopefully it will stay this way. Â Dr. Lee did save the old tube for me to look at(“in case I thought he was crazy”). Â It was completely clogged with crud and was, as diagnosed, “unsalvagable”. Â Thankfully it’s gone and new ones are in place. Â Onward & upward . Â . Â .
Thank you, Pat Pat, for hanging out with me in the waiting room. Â It was nice to have some company.
Oh, I am so glad it went well and so sorry she has had such a hard time. Little ears are always a challenge:(
Bless her!
By the way she is such a little doll. We have GOT to get these children together this summer. Once again, we should be shot for being such bad friends:)
